Our New Family

Dave and I are really enjoying being our own little family! We have been married 3 weeks and they have been the best 3 weeks of my life.

Dave is full swing back into farming and I am still working at the hospital in Clarksdale. I have recently started putting in applications with some travel nursing agencies. My contract in Clarksdale is up at the end of June!!! It was been a long two years working there.

As some of you may know Dave and I are planning a move to Colorado sometime in the next 6 months. We are so excited. I have never lived outside of Mississippi. We think that since we are young and aren't in any hurry to bring any little dave's and faren's into this world this is as best time as any.

Summer Time!

So far Dave and I are enjoying our summer. This past weekend we went canoeing down the Bogue Chitto where I preceded to get my self burnt. My back side is pretty fried. SPF 4 is not a good idea when you are out in the sun all day. We had a great time, did a lot of swimming because of the heat and got back an hour and a half after our friends. We did a lot a backward paddling, we are not professionals! We are getting excited about our trip to Denver. Dave lived out there for 3 years and some of his friends want to throw us an engagement party. We are also planning on seeing the Rockies play while we are out there.
Right now we are just enjoying life and being engaged. Wedding plans are coming along great thanks to my mom. We are so looking forward to our big day. I think Jamaica is going to be the winner on the honeymoon planning. I still can't believe I am engaged to the most wonderful man in the world. I know that God put him on this Earth just for me....I know this because there are probably only two men who can handle me, my dad and Dave. I pray everyday that God will continue to bless us in our road to marriage.
